Garbage/ Trash

There are numerous public trash cans located in the downtown area, in all the municipal parks and at gas stations. Please use these trash cans for small volume garbage and waste created during shopping (coffee cups, bags, product packaging).

Household waste should be brought to the Transfer Station on Dump Road. Large volumes of household and construction waste (larger than a pick-up load) need to be taken directly to the landfill on Highway 27.

Brown Water – Sewage

There are sani-dumps at both Riverside Park ($2 for non-registrants) and Dave’s RV Park ($5 for non-registrants).

Please take any unwanted items with life still in them to the Re-use Shed at the Transfer Station on Dump Road.

For those interested in free shopping, please visit the Re-use Shed regularly to pick up gently used items at a great price!

You can wash your vehicles or your pets at Hill Stop Car/Truck & Dog Wash (Highway 16 East).
