Nechako Valley Community Services Society
NVCSS is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting children, youth, families, and seniors. NVCSS offers various cost-free counseling programs to Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, and the Fraser Lake areas.
These programs include:
- Children Who Witness Violence
- Mental Health Counselling for Children and Youth
- Sexual Abuse Intervention
- Youth Justice
- Crime Victim Assistance
- Care Parent
- Family Preservation.
NVCSS is also involved with:
Residential Programs, Self Help, Semi-Independent Living Skills, Supported Work/Vocatoinal Incentive Program, and Special Services to Youth.
The following programs are also associated with NVCSS:
Riverside Place, The Bean on Burrard Coffee House, The Mobile Work Crew, and Nechako Valley Organics.
